Pre-TXLF2012 Survey

TXLF'ers we need your input to help us make TXLF2012 a huge success! Please take this short survey that will help determine critical aspects about TXLF2012 and beyond.

Planning for 2012 is under way!

We're currently talking to several venues in the Austin area about hosting the 2012 TXLF. Austin is a popular city these days so we have to compete with lots of local events as well as try to not conflict with other FOSS events around the world. On top of this, we're a bit too big for many of the smaller Austin venues and not quite big enough for the Austin Convention Center, which narrows down the field of venues we can use.

We're aiming for a bit later in the year this time around instead of April. I'll post an update as soon as we sign a venue.

Stay tuned! Read more »

Thanks for making TXLF 2011 a HUGE success!

Thanks to everyone for coming out and thanks to all of the awesome sponsors and volunteers for helping make TXLF 2011 a huge success. By last count, we had over 550 attendees, and the general feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I hope you all had a good time and learned a lot from the sessions. We'll be back in 2012 bigger and better!

We're collecting the slide decks and audio from each presentation and will have them on the website here shortly.  Please stay tuned.

After party at Buffalo Billiards!

The good folks at Buffalo Billiards (201 E. 6th Street) are kind enough to host our post-TXLF meetup and provide great drink specials.  Show your TXLF badge and get $3 wells and $2 domestic drafts!

Meetup starts at 8pm. See you there.
